Emily Brinskelle Visual Arts Instructor 

I am the Visual Art instructor at Turrentine Middle School. I have been teaching art in the North Carolina Public School System since 2001. Through my art journey I  have had the privilege of working and learning from great teachers at Claremont Elementary, Andrews Elementary School, Lexington Middle School, Erwin Middle School and now my current art home Turrentine Middle School.  I have created art independently and collaboratively and participated in numerous community events centered around the Arts. I have the firm belief that art is for all. For our youth art is a vehicle to self-expression, and wonder. In the art classroom students grow in their self-worth, learn from their peers, and engage in collaborative meaningful projects that represent who they are during "life in the middle".

Like all of us, I  wear many hats. I am a wife to the wonderful Ed Brinskelle, mom to two beautiful children. We love soccer, dance, running, traveling and juggling all that life throws us.
